Your responsibilities at Kura
I am responsible for the SEC filings and technical accounting research. I also manage the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program, prepare materials for the Audit Committee meetings and perform budget and forecast variance analysis.
What excites you most about your work?
I am most excited to contribute to a company whose purpose is to help patients with cancer lead better, longer lives.
What attracted you to working at Kura?
I was most attracted to working with the fantastic team we have at Kura.
What’s unique or special about Kura’s culture/environment?
The culture at Kura is very collaborative and teaming. The executive management team is very accessible and does a great job at communicating corporate goals, progress toward achieving goals and business updates.
What’s the most fun or rewarding project you’ve worked on?
The most rewarding project I’ve worked on was utilizing a new budgeting software to design budgeting reports that significantly reduced the time it takes to prepare the reports.
What is something that most people don’t know about you, e.g., interesting hobby or talent; favorite travel destination; recent life milestone)?
I’m a new mom. My daughter was born in 2017, and Kura has been incredibly supportive of this recently milestone in my life.
