What are your responsibilities at Kura?
All tasks related to month-end reconciliations including clinical trials accruals and R&D contracts as well as balance sheet, GL fluxes and external audit support.
What excites you most about your work?
The sense of accomplishment in a fast-paced work environment.
What attracted you to working at Kura?
Kura has offered me the opportunity to work for a small company while still having the possibility to wear many hats at once. I worked with some of my peers in the past, and it is always nice to work with people you like.
What’s unique or special about Kura’s culture/environment?
Since we are a small company, we all know each other and operate as a very tight team. We have an open-door policy, in which you can walk over to someone’s office with a question and you’ll get an answer right on the spot. Kura has very talented people and you can always count on them to enlighten you.
What’s the most fun or rewarding project you’ve worked on?
The redesign of our clinical trial accrual workbooks and the creation of new contract accrual trackers.
What is something that most people don’t know about you?
Many people don’t know that I was a professional singer when I was younger. I love dancing flamenco, and I love to educate others about the history of my hometown in Spain.
